The dogs on this page are in care and need a home,

Important: Because in most circumstances there is no record of a rescues parentage, we list dogs as a Coolie cross. All dogs in our care are desexed before departure, NO EXCEPTIONS if you want an undesexed dog please contact a reputable breeder.

Rescue dogs are dogs who have been rescued from a kill pound or shelter: a private re -home is not a rescue unless it is about to be surrendered.

We only recommend dogs that meet our high standards with excellent temperaments and robust health at the time of adoption.Dogs that we would be comfortable having in our own homes.

Kelly is being fostered in Northern NSW

Bean
Bean is smaller than the usual Coolie cross and we think he has a mix of terrier in his breeding he is good with kids and other dogs and loves to be with you he was rescued from a rural pound. Bean is situated in NSW.

Kev

Kev the Coolie is such a handsome boy!  Don't be fooled
just by his good looks though - Kev is a clever and active
boy.  He loves to play with other dogs though he needs a
dog who plays rough as he does too!

Kev really impressed in his temperament test in the pound,
behaving beautifully with friendly dogs and responding
sensibly to nasty dogs - we just loved him.

Coolies are a working breed and this means that Kev will
need an active home who want an intelligent and loyal
dog.  Further training is essential and he may even suit a
working home but whatever his new home is they must
want more than just a "dog in the backyard".
Kev has been rescued by Albury Dog Rescue and the contact can be found here http://www.alburydogrescue.org.au/dogs.html#kev
